In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to site leadership, translating business priorities into workforce plans that support growth, productivity, and engagement.
  • Lead key HR programs across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance development, learning, succession planning, and retention.
  • Provide guidance to leaders and employees on workplace matters, including policy interpretation, coaching, and issue resolution, with a focus on fairness, consistency, and respect.
  • Support positive employee and labor relations, including collaboration with employee representatives where applicable, and help maintain constructive communication channels.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives such as change management, culture-building, workforce planning, and leadership capability development.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence and shared services to implement HR processes efficiently and improve the employee experience.
  • Use data and insights to identify trends (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, staffing, performance), recommend actions, and measure results.
  • Champion inclusive practices that broaden talent pipelines, reduce barriers, and create equitable opportunities for development and advancement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards, supporting audits and documentation as needed.
  • Promote a safe, respectful workplace and reinforce expectations related to integrity, respectful conduct, and continuous improvement.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead an HR function or HR business partnership in a manufacturing, operations, or multi-shift environment (or similarly complex setting).
  • Strong working knowledge of Mexico labor practices and employee relations, including experience supporting investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes with care and consistency.
  • Practical experience leading or contributing to initiatives across talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, learning, and leadership development.
  • Ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels, using empathy, credibility, and clear communication.
  • Comfort using HR metrics and systems to drive decisions and continuous improvement (experience with HRIS/ATS workflows and reporting).
  • Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to partner across functions (Operations, EHS, Finance, Quality) and across regions when needed.
  • Communication skills in Spanish (required) and English (professional proficiency to collaborate with regional/global partners).
  • Commitment to ethical decision-making, confidentiality, and building a respectful, inclusive workplace.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience supporting labor relations in a unionized environment or working closely with employee committees and site leadership teams.
  • Exposure to compensation fundamentals, job leveling, and organizational design in a manufacturing or industrial context.
  • Experience implementing HR process improvements (standard work, simplification, digitization) that improve speed, quality, and employee experience.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Recruiting/HR systems or comparable enterprise ATS/HRIS platforms.
  • Experience leading change initiatives, culture transformation, or leadership development programs across a site or multiple teams.
  • Training or demonstrated capability in coaching, facilitation, mediation, and inclusive leadership practices.
