Job Summary
The Tax Analyst supports the Tax Supervisor in executing and monitoring compliance with tax obligations by preparing working papers for determining taxes contributions. Maintains accounting records for tax-related transactions and attends to information requests from various government agencies. Monitors and update tax changes related to CFDI (electronic invoices), electronic accounting, and perform bulk validation and reconciliation to automate processes. And avoids future issues arising from audits conducted by tax authorities (SAT, IMSS, and local taxes).
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
1. Comply with internal processes for rebilling and the tax implications of credit notes.
2. Reconcile and update the GTM process in accordance with corporate guidelines.
3. Provide tax support to the Collection and Billing departments.
4. Maintain and validate blacklists.
5. Assist in preparing working papers for tax audits.
6. Assist in preparing working papers for local taxes and social security contributions.
Who you are:
Oriented to Service to internal and external Customer related to tax Support and invoicing tax process (customer focus)
Align finance to tax criteria to identify the best practices to avoid taxes issues for the company (Strategic mindset)
Tax knowledge to avoid risk on tax authorities’ requirements (ensure accountability)
Support all Emerson´s areas on tax or social security question to identify best practices that could impact the financial statements (action oriented)
For this role, you will need:
Accounting degree
General knowledge of IRS, VAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, local taxes and withholding taxes (at least 2 years’ experience)
Excel medium knowledge
Preferred qualifications that set you a part:

AP/AR “complemento de pago” process
