The eCommerce Sales Manager is responsible for managing, analyzing, and driving sustainable growth across key North American eCommerce accounts. This role leads account management for major online partners, including Amazon and SupplyHouse, while strengthening relationships with preferred online distributors (PODs). The position also owns the development, communication, and enforcement of the Professional Tools Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy to ensure consistent and accurate brand representation across digital channels.
As the internal subject matter expert for online sales, this role builds a comprehensive understanding of the eCommerce landscape, analyzes global performance, and partners across functions to execute strategies that support long term growth for Emerson’s Professional Tools brands.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Drive the growth of eCommerce sales and expand the Professional Tools online presence across key platforms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Professional Tools’ largest eCommerce account, Amazon, managing all related account activities.
- Manage the Professional Tools product catalog within Amazon Vendor Central, ensuring accurate content, optimized listings, and a strong customer experience across Amazon and the Amazon Marketplace.
- Monitor Amazon category trends, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategies focused on underserved or emerging product categories.
- Plan, execute, and continuously optimize Amazon advertising investments to support growth on priority ASINs while ensuring effective use of spend.
- Identify and address cost reduction opportunities related to Amazon operational penalties by partnering with Credit and Operations teams.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service teams in to resolve order processing questions and support special purchasing initiatives, including bulk buy programs.
- Build and manage a direct relationship with Amazon Canada, developing and executing Canada specific strategies for both brands.
- Manage vendor agreements, including pricing updates and price increase communications, in alignment with business objectives.
- Actively participate in the Professional Tools internal eCommerce Project Team, collaborating across functions and platforms.
- Support the evolution of North American MAP policies, with primary responsibility for implementation, enforcement, and daily execution.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing or Business) or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Five or more years of relevant sales or marketing experience.
- Familiarity with eCommerce sales channels, tactics, strategies, and policies.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying connected to cross functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate and lead within cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- An MBA.
- Experience supporting both B2B and B2C sales and marketing organizations.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
- Knowledge of leading digital commerce and marketing platforms.
- Experience working with data analysis tools and databases.
- Experience with PPC advertising, Amazon Advertising, and retail media platforms.

The salary range for this role is $91,356-$120,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
