In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Support the Senior Store Executive in driving operational excellence and efficiency across all store operations.
  • Lead and guide senior store personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant kitting, issuing, and receiving activities.
  • Act as a key operational contact by proactively responding to internal and external customer requirements.
  • Execute and oversee daily stockroom operations in accordance with approved work instructions, procedures, and Emerson Management Quality standards.
  • Uphold and enforce 5S, safety, and housekeeping practices to ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Who You Are:
You are an experienced store operations professional with a strong focus on quality, safety, and inventory accuracy. You lead by example, support operational excellence, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure store activities meet Emerson standards and business requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:
    • A Diploma or Sijil Kemahiran from Politeknik, Kolej Komuniti, or TVET in a relevant field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in store, inventory, or material management within a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and stockroom operations.
    • Hands‑on experience with material handling equipment such as reach truck, stacker, and forklift.
    • Ability to lead and support senior store personnel to achieve operational accuracy and efficiency.
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar) and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Good understanding of 5S, safety practices, and quality standards in daily operations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
    • A proactive, detail‑oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
    • Experience supporting or acting in a supervisory or lead role within store or material management operations.
    • Strong exposure to manufacturing or project‑based environments, particularly in valve, machining, or engineered products.
    • Hands‑on involvement in cycle counts, annual physical inventory, and variance investigations.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, accuracy, and efficiency in store operations.
    • Familiarity with LEAN principles and continuous improvement practices within logistics or warehousing.
    • Prior experience working closely with cross‑functional teams such as Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service.
    • Valid certification or license to operate material handling equipment (reach truck, forklift, stacker).
    • Willingness to take initiative, coach team members, and act as a role model for safety, quality, and compliance.
