Job Summary:
The Project & Service Engineer will play a key role in delivering industrial automation projects across the power generation and water/wastewater sectors in Saudi Arabia. You will lead and support technical delivery, site commissioning, services, and customer engagements for Ovation™ DCS systems. In partnership with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, you will help ensure high‑quality project execution, strong technical performance, and an excellent customer experience. This role requires the ability to coordinate multiple activities, manage technical requirements, and contribute to safe and reliable operations across all assigned projects.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure smooth execution and on‑time delivery of projects.
• Plan project activities including materials, engineering schedules, resource needs, and commissioning tasks.
• Review project documents, schedules, and milestones to support invoicing, approvals, and customer follow‑up.
• Prepare detailed project plans and monitor progress using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost while minimizing risks and maintaining compliance.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, responding to queries, clarifications, and documentation reviews.
• Lead site surveys, site commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for Ovation™ DCS systems.
• Prepare technical solution concepts aligned with project requirements while optimizing cost and scope.
• Design and review system architecture including networks, fieldbuses, datalinks, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Collaborate with back‑office engineering teams to ensure accurate hardware design, control strategies, and software applications.
• Participate in proposal reviews, site walkdowns, and technical discussions to support sales and solution development.
• Define procurement needs and work with the supply chain team to evaluate vendor proposals and select appropriate solutions.
• Manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with technical and quality expectations.
• Conduct internal design reviews, validate engineering deliverables, and support continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and escalate issues when needed.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environment requirements, policies, and reporting expectations.

For This Role, You Will Need:
A degree in Engineering (Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, or Electronics) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with DCS/PLC/SCADA systems, control loops, field instruments, and industrial communication protocols.
• Knowledge of industrial networking, routing, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity considerations.
• Familiarity with power plant operations such as simple and combined cycle systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and deliver high‑quality technical work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Saudi Arabia (over 80%) and internationally when required.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Experience with automation in the power generation sector, including commissioning of boilers, steam turbines, combustion turbines, desalination, or water/wastewater facilities.
• Experience configuring or commissioning automation systems using Ovation™ DCS.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience participating in proposal development, technical reviews, and customer technical meetings.
