Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to deliver end to end ICSS projects. This position is based out in Pune, India.
In this role, you will ensure projects are executed with excellence—managing scope, risks, schedules, budgets, and communication to keep teams aligned and delivery on track. Your leadership will be pivotal in aligning techno-commercial decisions with strategic objectives and fostering collaboration across global diverse teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, proven project management experience, and a passion for leading teams to deliver impactful results.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Project Management
Define and manage project scope, timelines, resources and costs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Conduct and lead project meetings to maintain alignment, remove obstacles and drive continuous progress across teams.
Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and changes.
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
Establish progress monitoring and reporting, facilitate technical trade-offs and decision-making processes to meet project goals.
Manage multiple projects in parallel, to relate with different groups of people in various levels of organization
Provide project pursuit support together with sales team as and when required, Tender Vetting of Proposal and budget estimates
Conflict management and resolution
Quality and Governance
Adherence to QA processes/documentation throughout the project.
Adopts to World Area quality requirements and Customer’s regulatory guidelines.
Promote “First time right” approach and GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
Promote continuous improvement in deliverables and workflow quality.
Ensure compliance with Emerson Ethics and HSE policy
Who You Are:
Experienced engineering professional with sound background on Industry domains (Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals, Metals & Minerals etc.) and hands-on project management expertise.
Proven success in managing Control System projects, meeting deadlines, and controlling budgets.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate effective communication, collaboration, and leadership in multiculture environment, Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditions.
Experienced working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions.
You adapt well to global time zones and excel in customer-facing and collaborative environments.
Flexible approach to work, provide leadership & alignment with minimum supervision
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
BE or B. Tech, degree in Management or Certification in PMP and Agile methodologies would be an added advantage.
5+ years project management experience in relevant industries. Being able to apply hybrid project management methodologies (Waterfall & Agile)
Strong interpersonal skills and customer relationship capabilities.
Ability to manage teams or groups and organize workforce effectively. Team player, able to work in multi-cultural virtual environment.
