In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead Actively supports production goals by maintaining continuous flow on the production floor.
  • Independently maintains CAT record and process certifications.
  • Verifies and maintains accurate product documentation throughout the assembly process including part numbers, serial numbers, heat lots, product codes, dates, and employee signoff.
  • Ensures product and process quality is maintained through visual inspection and testing as required.
  • Organizes, cleans, and maintains good housekeeping through utilization of 5S principles.
  • Takes initiative to troubleshoot and problem-solve production issues.
  • Enters data into the Oracle system and performs computer transactions, as appropriate.
  • Actively participates in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), Lean Manufacturing, 5s + 1, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) efforts to help improve quality, shorten cycle times, and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Assists in the orientation and training of other Manufacturing Specialists.
  • Independently identifies work to be done. Proactively seeks work maximize overall product flow and efficiency.
  • Follows all safety procedures and reports hazards, near misses, and incidents within 24 hours.
  • Actively identifies safety concerns and takes appropriate action to enter them into Velocity.
  • Willingly shares skills and knowledge.
  • Leads and/or participates in organized stretching.
  • Sets good example for others, is a good role model. Welding Specialist II
  • Cooperatively performs additional duties as assigned or required.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35lbs frequently.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, push, pull, and reach regularly throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment correctly throughout entire shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion of fingers, hands, arms and shoulders for reaching, handling, and assembly of product.
  • Able to read, interpret, and follow written, visual, and verbal work instructions.
  • Able to apply knowledge of total process flow

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be certified in multiple
    processes in one or more areas. Must be able to obtain a by completing a stainless-steel weld
    test in the 2G position.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the hourly pay range for this role is $31.32 - $37.52 commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
