In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Review power plant design data and project technical specifications.
- Learn and master the usage and application techniques of existing modeling tools.
- Construct logic and mathematical models—based on Power Plant P&IDs to meet specific project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with a team of 2 to 3 project engineers to perform model integration and commissioning; assist clients in completing acceptance testing for power plant simulation systems.
- Provide on-site technical support for simulation projects.
- Optimize and refine the model library.
- Acquire necessary knowledge regarding DCS systems while providing simulation support for APS projects.
- Complete other job assigned by Lead engineer/Engineering Manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Possess an educational background related to Thermal Energy and Power Engineering.
- Possess background knowledge related to thermal power plants, as well as knowledge of the operating principles of boilers and steam turbines.
- Understand the basic principles of power plant automation control systems.
- Willing to travel and capable of working efficiently under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience in simulation system development will be a plus.
- Experience with DCS systems is preferred.
- Experience in field service operations is preferred.

Responsible for executing a range of relatively complex engineering functions, including the design, commissioning, performance tuning, and validation of power plant simulation systems, ensuring that the constructed systems fully comply with both company standards and specific client requirements. Furthermore, this position requires foundational knowledge of power plant DCS control systems to facilitate future APS support activities. The engineer will participate in the entire project process—from initial technical support efforts through to the final project acceptance phase.
