  • In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

    Develop and maintain a demand forecast for parts at SKU level and monitor trends in forecast error.

    Analyze part historical sales data, identify and understand the outliers and demand patterns to ensure forecast accuracy.

    Utilize forecasting and statistical expertise to evaluate baseline forecast and incorporate new business, promotions, external market factors, and new product introductions.

    Assess forecast quality and give suggestions of fine-tuning forecast engine parameters.

    Work with technical team to provide testing results and feedback.

    Maintain the demand planning system and recommend/implement improvements to the process.

    Work cross functionally with teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Supply Planning to collect necessary inputs to use as part forecast review to improve forecast accuracy.

    Complete inventory strategy reviews and finalize Excess and Obsolete inventory analysis to ensure optimal part stocking and service levels.

  • For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in data science, supply chain management, or related field or 5 years in demand planning in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree.

Experience working and integrating with Oracle, SAP, or other demand planning software.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

    • Master’s degree in data science, supply chain management, or related field
    • Experience working with visual reporting tools e.g., PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau
    • Experience in S&OP process
    • Experience in Demand Planning tools, e.g., SAP IBP or Oracle Demantra
    • ASCM CPIM/CSCP or IBF certification
