Position Summary:
As a Business Development Manager for Pervasive Sensing, Corrosion, and Erosion solutions, you will play a key role in driving growth for Emerson’s Measurement Solutions business across the UAE and Oman. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, expanding customer adoption of digitalization and IIoT solutions, and strengthening Emerson’s presence in critical industrial applications. Working closely with country sales teams and local business partners, you will engage customers, demonstrate solution value, and support opportunities from early engagement through order realization.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for wireless, corrosion, erosion, and connectivity solutions across assigned geographies.
- Partner closely with country sales teams and local business partners to expand customer reach and drive demand creation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, guiding technical discussions, solution positioning, and value demonstrations.
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of products and solutions, supporting demonstrations, pilots, and test installations where required.
- Lead selected opportunities from initial engagement through purchase order, collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide insights that support competitive positioning and strategy.
- Support sales capability development by delivering product training and enabling sales channels with relevant tools and knowledge.
- Contribute to regional strategy by identifying growth areas, sharing market feedback, and supporting product and solution planning initiatives.
- Track key opportunity data, report progress, and monitor customer feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across business units to support growth of analytics and digital solutions, including Plantweb™ Insight offerings.
- Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

- An engineering, science, or technical background, or equivalent practical experience in industrial or technology‑driven environments.
- Experience in business development, solution selling, or industrial sales with a customer‑focused approach.
- Ability to engage customers in technical and commercial discussions and translate needs into solution value.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the assigned region.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience with wireless technologies, IIoT, digitalization, or connectivity solutions in industrial applications.
- Exposure to corrosion or erosion monitoring solutions.
- Business or commercial qualifications that support strategic and customer‑focused selling.
