The primary job responsibilities are to actively prospect, evaluate, develop, drive and secure the sales of automation solutions within the renewables power sector throughout the Nordics, with a specific focus in the wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage systems domain. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of industrial automation technologies and the local power market, as well as a proven ability to manage key accounts, build relationships, and successfully navigate complex sales cycles.
This position is engaged in all sales phases – from cold sell calls to contractual awards, and the handover of such to the project execution and delivery organization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Implement and continuously improve the local sales strategy and tactics throughout the agreed region, developing the business leveraging Emerson’s product portfolio
  • Identify and prospect, develop, drive, and close sales opportunities
  • Own the allocated order budget throughout each fiscal year
  • Account management for assigned customers
  • Actively collaborate within the local and European sales team to support market growth across the Nordic region

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Five to ten years of commercial or sales experience within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong background in utility‑scale wind, with working knowledge of solar PV and BESS market trends and ancillary services.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline and close complex sales, covering both new‑build projects and retrofit/modernization solutions.
  • Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle, including senior‑level customer engagement and contract negotiations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience using CRM systems and sales enablement tools to drive profitable growth.
  • Fluent in English & Danish; proficiency in more than one Nordic language is an advantage.

  • Experience of developing successful relationships internally and externally, cross functionally, within a matrix organization
  • Ability and willingness to travel in order to fulfil duties of the role, expected up to 25% of time.
