In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Operate and continuously monitor facility systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and fire/life safety systems during assigned shifts.
- Provide day-to-day operational support in response to service requests from facility users.
- Ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and within defined operating limits.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities in accordance with established maintenance plans.
- Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic system adjustments.
- Identify and report abnormal operating conditions, recommending corrective actions when needed.
- Accurately update preventive maintenance records, checklists, and work orders in logbooks or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Respond promptly to equipment faults, alarms, and service complaints.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic control system issues.
- Perform corrective repairs or temporary restorations to maintain operational continuity.
- Escalate complex or high-risk issues to engineers, supervisors, or external specialists as appropriate.
- Follow all environmental, health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
- Maintain clear and accurate shift logs, and prepare effective handover notes for the incoming shift or supervisor.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A Technical Certificate or Diploma from a vocational school, community college, or recognized training institute.
- Willingness and ability to work on a rotating shift schedule.
- Valid AO Chargeman Certificate.
- Hands-on experience supporting commercial buildings or facility systems.
- Practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to breakdowns and emergency calls.
- Basic computer skills to update maintenance records and use CMMS or digital log systems.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Experience more than 2 years working in large-scale commercial, industrial, or manufacturing facilities.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient operations and preventive maintenance best practices.
- Exposure to building automation or monitoring systems.
- Strong communication skills to engage with facility users and technical teams.
