In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks at Southaven docks following established safety and quality standards
  • Support receiving operations by separating, organizing, labeling, and staging incoming material
  • Perform put‑away of inbound freight to assigned rack, bin, or floor locations using RF scanning
  • Transport and stage finished goods for outbound shipment in coordination with shipping schedules
  • Operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, cherry picker, tri‑loader) safely and in compliance with site‑specific procedures
  • Accurately complete material movements and transactions using handheld RF scanners
  • Perform routine housekeeping to maintain clean aisles, dock areas, and work zones
  • Follow all Emerson safety requirements, including fall protection when working at elevated heights
  • Meet department quality, attendance, safety, and productivity expectations
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members as needed
  • Provide operational support to other Southaven departments during peak or business‑critical periods
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support site operations

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions with limited supervision
  • Successful completion of Emerson‑required training and certification for powered industrial equipment, including forklift, cherry picker, and tri‑loader
  • Comfort working at heights up to 20 feet while wearing required fall protection equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and working on concrete surfaces for extended periods (8+ hours)
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently use handheld RF scanning devices
  • Commitment to following all Company safety policies, procedures, and Southaven site guidelines

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Previous experience in receiving, put‑away, or outbound shipping operations
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF‑based inventory transactions
  • Experience working in a high‑volume manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Prior experience supporting cross‑functional warehouse or production teams
