In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead daily microfactory operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity targets while promoting a “zero harm” mindset.
  • Create and maintain daily management routines (tier meetings, visual management, KPI tracking) to drive transparent performance and quick issue resolution.
  • Coach and empower team members through inclusive leadership, skill development, and structured problem-solving—building capability and engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean methods (e.g., waste elimination, standard work, 5S, Kaizen) and data-based decision-making.
  • Own and improve key manufacturing metrics such as OEE, throughput, scrap, rework, cycle time, on-time delivery, and customer complaints.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure robust process controls, effective change management, and stable material flow.
  • Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions (e.g., 8D, A3, CAPA) to prevent recurrence and improve product and process reliability.
  • Support production planning and capacity alignment; identify constraints and implement countermeasures to meet demand and service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and external requirements (e.g., EHS practices, ISO-based quality systems, and site policies).
  • Champion innovation and digital enablement where it improves safety, productivity, traceability, and decision-making.
  • Promote an environment of trust and integrity—where respectful feedback, learning, and accountability help everyone perform at their best.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people in a manufacturing or production environment, with a strong presence on the shop floor.
  • Working knowledge of Lean / continuous improvement principles and practical experience applying them to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Ability to interpret and act on operational data (KPIs), using a structured approach to problem-solving and prioritization.
  • Strong communication skills to align teams, set clear expectations, and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Commitment to safe work practices, process discipline, and ethical decision-making.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment—adapting quickly, managing change, and keeping teams focused on customer outcomes.
  • Language capability appropriate for the site (typically Slovak and English to collaborate locally and internationally).
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience leading a cell-based / microfactory model, autonomous teams, or mini-business units within manufacturing.
  • Formal training or certification in Lean methods (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma) or demonstrated equivalent capability.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems and tools such as ERP/MES, digital dashboards, traceability solutions, or structured daily management systems.
  • Background in regulated or high-mix production environments; familiarity with quality standards and audits (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Experience coaching team leaders/supervisors and building inclusive talent pipelines through mentoring and development plans.
  • Exposure to maintenance strategies (e.g., TPM) and reliability improvement in partnership with Maintenance/Engineering.
