- Evaluate and publish the monthly shipment plan by product (POR – President’s Operating Report).
- Create and maintain the Master Plan for materials and production capacity to meet customer demand and service level goals (PDSL 95%, RDSL 90%, LT 28 days average, late backlog targets).
- Review incoming orders and balance production lines according to the plan.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to determine forecasts and review plan performance (S&OP).
- Review and confirm the Master Plan for S&OP.
- Maintain material orders for product families, including engineering changes.
- Collaborate with Purchasing on supplier transitions.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels aligned with demand and inventory goals.
- Review and manage obsolete and excess inventory.
- Determine if lead times need adjustment based on material availability.
- Support new product introduction with inventory planning.
- Coordinate with Engineering on new product launches and design changes.
- Analyze and update planning parameters (safety stock, kanban, min-max).
- Lead, assign work, and identify training needs for planners.
- Follow up on assigned activities until completion.
- Participate in safety and hygiene activities.
- Comply with training programs.
- Support cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
The position works closely with, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure the achievement of key objectives.
- Experience handling information from planning, purchasing, and production areas.
- Experience developing and monitoring planning and operations KPIs.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and MRP planning systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proactive with a strong sense of urgency.
- Leadership skills, team management, and teamwork.
- Oracle system knowledge is desirable and ability to monitor operational KPIs.
- Knowledge of BOMs, planning, sales forecasting, and MRP systems.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree as Industrial, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
- Bilingual 90%
