In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Obtain promise date from released orders to supplier and keep system up to date.
- Inquire with supplier when promise dates do not meet requirement and escalate with buyer.
- Ensure that supplier ships on time so that material arrives on time.
- Obtain shipment tracking information and share when requested.
- Review material short reports and Oracle system to expedite materials as needed.
- Inform buyer of discrepancies between shipped and ordered when quantities exceed order
- Obtain Information for reports and fill out reports as requested by area manager.
- Escalate chronic non-delivery problems with buyer.
- Provide delivery information to production and planning areas.
- Maintain excellent communication with support departments and suppliers.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
- Bilingual 90%
- 2 years of experience in dealing with suppliers or customers.
- MRP management
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot tables).
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Communication skills both spoken and written.
- Sense of urgency.

The Delivery Assurance is highly organized and detail oriented. Plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient arrival of materials for the organization. The main responsibility for this position is to follow up that purchase orders placed by the buyer are shipped on time, on budget, in the correct quantities and by the correct shipping modes. Handles Excel files and tables for tracking as well as the use of the Oracle system. Has a great ability to relate delivery items and facility to handle different shipment tracking portals. Expedites materials according to the signals he receives from the system. Applies experience and common sense to distinguish the urgency to expedite. Maintains good relationship with suppliers by keeping in touch via telephone and e-mail.
