This role reports to the Senior Finance Analyst and offers the chance to work on a smaller team supporting one of Emerson's manufacturing businesses while also interacting regularly with a larger corporate team.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Responsible for computer inputs, run scheduling, review of output and distribution of accounting data.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting problems or errors.
- Prepare reports, worksheets, or audit schedules necessary for internal and external use.
- Work on special projects and handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality using independent judgement with a high degree of accountability.
- Provide input and test data for system design and development
- Investigate discrepancies in actual expenses vs. budget.
- Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to general ledger and/or reconcile ledger accounts.
- Gather data and prepare 1099’s.
Who You Are:
- You understand the meaning and implications of key financial indicators. You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations and take on new opportunities and tough challenges. You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others and operate effectively even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- 2 - 4 years of related experience in accounting or finance is required
- Associates degree in accounting, business or finance is required
- Work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
- Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance is preferred

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
