Job Summary

As Project Manager II, you will be responsible for leading moderate to significant complexity, repetitive projects (Tier 2 & Tier 3), ensuring alignment with Emerson’s project execution standards and customer expectations. Under some oversight of a PWS NA Group Manager or an assigned mentor, you will progressively take on more responsibility to develop your project management expertise, applying best practices across all project phases: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing.

For this role, you will need (must):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 4-5+ years’ experience in Project Management or project engineering.
  • Deep understanding of Project Management fundamentals, including methodologies, tools, and best practices for planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of the Emerson Project Management process such as TP2000 / TP3000 (PATH) to independently manage moderate to significant complexity project (Tier 2 & Tier 3)
  • Solid experience using project management scheduling tools, particularly Microsoft Project. Able to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, manage task dependencies and resource allocations, and support project tracking and reporting to ensure timely execution.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (B2 English level or higher).
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to detail workflows and deliverables effectively.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications that set you a part:

  • Previous experience or knowledge with Power and Water Projects Industry.
  • Automation controls systems experience (DCS systems, other competitors).
