Job Summary
If you are a Senior Finance Manager professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to lead a critical finance function for Emerson’s Headquarters in Dubai and the Central Region, covering the UAE and Oman. In this highly visible role, you will partner with regional and business leadership to deliver high‑quality financial insights, ensure strong governance, and support strategic decision‑making across Emerson. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will have broad exposure across financial reporting, planning, treasury, and statutory compliance while contributing to continuous improvement and regional growth initiatives.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Act as a trusted finance partner to Business Units, Functions, and regional teams by delivering clear financial insights, analysis, and recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions
- Analyse financial performance by business unit and country, identifying key trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and support sustainable growth
- Partner closely with regional leadership to provide proactive financial guidance for both day‑to‑day operations and longer‑term strategic planning
- Take end‑to‑end financial ownership of UAE legal entities, ensuring accurate financial statements, consistent application of accounting policies, and strong internal controls in line with Emerson standards
- Lead statutory reporting activities and coordinate with Emerson Accounting & Reporting, external auditors, and internal audit teams to ensure timely completion of annual audits with full compliance
- Own and manage Local In‑Country Value (ICV) plans for the UAE, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements and Emerson processes
- Prepare, consolidate, and co‑own rolling forecasts, financial plans, and annual budgets in line with the Emerson planning calendar
- Manage banking relationships, including signatory administration, online approvals, bank facility renewals, cash pooling, liquidity reporting, and trade finance activities
- Lead and support ad‑hoc financial projects and cross‑functional initiatives as required by regional finance leadership
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and reporting by promoting standardisation, automation, and efficiency
- Support integration activities related to acquisitions and organisational changes across the World Area
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including regional leadership, Business Units, shared service teams in Manila and Pune, and HR to support payroll, incentive plans, and employee settlements
Who You Are:

You are comfortable assessing business and market opportunities from both a financial and commercial perspective, translating complex data into clear insights that inform decision‑making. You balance attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapting quickly while maintaining a strong focus on quality and results.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or an equivalent field
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting standards
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in US GAAP and IFRS reporting
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role within a finance function in a large or complex organisation
- Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP systems and Hyperion Financial Management or equivalent tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
