- Own and deliver sales booking goals for installed base Flow Measurement Products across Malaysia.
- Drive sales activities covering industries such as oil and gas, refineries, oleochemicals, chemicals, power generation, gas distribution, and metering.
- Engage with engineering companies, consultants, and end users to develop long‑term partnerships and identify new business opportunities.
- Respond to customer enquiries, generate new opportunities, and provide technical and commercial solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, including competitive displacement and expansion within existing accounts.
- Collaborate closely with the Flow Solutions Group, Emerson Automation Solutions business units, and the Asia Pacific team to achieve shared sales objectives.
- Prepare and manage sales pursuit plans, opportunity status updates, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Translate customer technical requirements into clear inputs for internal sales leaders and marketing teams.
- Participate in marketing and customer engagement activities to strengthen Emerson’s market presence.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support overall team and business objectives.
- Experience in sales or business development within instrumentation, flow measurement, or related industrial solutions.
- A technical background in engineering or a related discipline, with the ability to understand and communicate complex solutions.
- Strong techno‑commercial capability, with confidence in proposing value‑based solutions.
- Working knowledge of field instrumentation, flow measurement, or metering applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage sales data, forecasts, and opportunity pipelines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort engaging in office, customer, and site environments.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within Malaysia as required.
- Experience working across multiple process industries, including energy, chemicals, or utilities.
- Familiarity with complex sales cycles involving consultants, EPCs, and end users.
- Exposure to regional or cross‑functional collaboration within a matrix organization.
- Strong understanding of business processes and customer operational challenges.
