Job Summary
Emerson T&M Group(NI) is advancing the use of artificial intelligence to enhance commercial productivity and decision-making across the APAC region. As an AI Workflow Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of practical AI-enabled workflows that support sales and business teams. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world AI applications, where your work directly improves how teams research, create content, and access insights.
You will collaborate with business and regional stakeholders to translate commercial needs into usable AI solutions, gaining experience in enterprise AI adoption while building skills that prepare you for future graduate or full-time opportunities at Emerson.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Design, prototype, and refine AI-enabled workflows, including large language model (LLM) agents and Copilot-style use cases that support commercial activities.
- Develop practical AI use cases such as market and account research, proposal drafting, content generation, and knowledge summarization.
- Build and maintain reusable prompt libraries, structured templates, and workflow components to improve consistency and scalability.
- Translate business requirements into AI solutions that are intuitive, reliable, and easy for sales teams to adopt.
- Support integration of AI tools into existing platforms such as CRM systems and content management tools.
- Document workflows, use cases, playbooks, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing.
- Participate in pilot programs by collecting user feedback, tracking outcomes, and iterating on solutions.
- Assist with monitoring productivity improvements, such as time savings and workflow efficiency, and share learnings across regional teams.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Current enrollment in a degree program related to artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, or a similar field.
Hands-on experience delivering one or more AI-related projects, such as LLM applications, automation workflows, or AI agents.
Familiarity with AI tools and platforms used for research, content creation, summarization, or workflow automation.
Basic programming capability in Python or a similar language.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ideas and translate business needs into practical solutions.
Effective communication skills and comfort working with diverse, cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Exposure to workflow automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or similar platforms.
Experience using or experimenting with LLM tools such as OpenAI-based models or comparable solutions.
Awareness of AI tools supporting voice, research, or knowledge management use cases.
