Commodity Manager

1. Lead cost review by product series to clarify the cost points, drive and execute cost optimization program.
2. Strategic Supplier management to meet materials availability & Commodity inventory cost objectives.
2.1 Develop strategies for assigned commodity in conjunction with Regional Manager。
2.2 Develop a world-class supplier base in Asia.
2.3 Monitor supplier capacity to ensure materials availability.
2.4 Drive lean projects to improve lead-time, flexibility WW manufacturing sites.
2.5 Establish and meet cost containment/ cost reduction targets for assigned commodity.
2.6 Manage responsible supplier base to ensure quality levels are maintained.
2.7 Support Production and Materials Management Teams to ensure optimum inventory levels 2.8 Coordinate with R&D/Product engineers regarding requirements for product transfers and new product developments.
3 Digital supply chain, development office automation to visibility KPI dashboard and commodity improvement opportunities

Degree or equivalent experience in relevant Engineering with relevant industry working experience
commodity/sourcing/supplier development experience in similar industry
Good English communication
Lean knowledge

We are looking for a Commodity Manager who will work in global supply chain organization to drive for China region localization projects. This role will research and verify the BOM and define cost optimization strategies and directions as well as develop and management new /existing sources in order to optimize supply chain in China, including technical improvement and design changes to improve cost, productivity, and quality, and drive AP/China supply chain digitalization projects as well.
