• Evaluates and coordinates the safety, quality and productivity of all people under his responsibility.
• Comply with all safety policies, to immediately report any situation of risk and to actively participate in actions to improve safety in his area.
• Continuously monitor his/her staff and the process to ensure a work meeting the quality requirements, based also on critical processes audits results as well as the identifycation, analysis, record and disposition of nonconforming material with the support of engineering and group leaders.
• The coordinator must notify and alert on any condition of the process or product that may affect product quality and must trigger the Andon System process
• Application of world class manufacturing techniques, to the product manufacturing to improve productivity, 5s’, inventory reduccion, waste rediuction, etc.
• Getting people under his/her responsibility become multifunctional, through new certifications or new welding qualifications (LWI 15) to achieve a high performance and thereby achieving compliance with the production requirements, through an effective team to achieve substantial improvements in efficiency, absortion and capacity.
• To make a correct distribution of the information which contributes to the appropriate decisions for the operation of the working system.
• He anticipates the needs of development and integration of his workgroup, improvement plans and the implementation and promotion of labor relations policy. (CH 8001) to raise the level of performance of the manufacturing personnel in each area.
• Develop the production staff in meeting the training programs and certification processes, through the plans ndividual and group plans to keep flexibility within the operation
• Create a culture of a professional and respectful work environment by analyzing and developing action plans from the opinion poll to transform the level of contribution of the personnel.
• Personnel development to improve results inabsenteeism, turnover, quality and productivity of each manufacturing area through a lidership based on the application of the principles of Communicative Supervisor and recognition programs to improve the relationship between employees and the company
• Is responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment are operating under appropriate conditions to perform the operation, giiving follow up through the support departments. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance as appropriate
