In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead end-to-end execution of manufacturing-related projects including equipment installations, process improvements, plant expansions, and NPI initiatives
  • Develop detailed project plans and corp. level presentations including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables
  • Ensure alignment with plant production schedules and operational constraints
  • Drive adherence to stage-gate or structured project management processes
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma (DMAIC/DMADV) methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput
  • Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process optimization initiatives
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
  • Track and report measurable improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and safety (CQDS)
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and EHS teams
  • Ensure seamless integration of projects into daily plant operations
  • Coordinate activities across multiple manufacturing sites (U.S. and Mexico)
  • Support standardization of processes and best practice sharing across locations
  • Identify and mitigate project risks impacting production, safety, or quality
  • Ensure all projects comply with OSHA (U.S.), NOM (Mexico), and company EHS standards
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture in all project activities
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Develop and manage capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets
  • Track project costs, ROI, and financial performance
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Support business case development and post-implementation reviews
  • Act as primary liaison between plant leadership and project teams
  • Provide clear, data-driven project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Manage expectations across diverse, cross-cultural teams
  • Facilitate project reviews, milestone tracking, and escalation management

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor Science degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field required
  • 5–8+ years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing or plant operations
  • Proven success managing capital projects, process improvements, or NPI in a plant environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., assembly, machining, automation)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Reporting Software experience (Noetix, Crystal Reports).
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Travel required (approximately 25–40%) between Aiken, Mexicali, and Saltillo locations
  • Data analysis skills (Minitab, Excel, or similar tools preferred)
  • Understanding of CapEx planning and industrial equipment integration
  • English Level B2 as minimum required

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (required or strongly preferred).
