We’re looking for a hands-on problem solver to join our team in Brenham, TX and play a key role in improving product quality and driving continuous improvement across our operations. In this role, you’ll lead quality investigations, analyze key performance metrics, and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) that directly enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, strengthen our quality systems, and support ISO 9001 compliance. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Customer and Internal Quality Leadership

  • Serve as the primary quality contact for customer complaints, warranty returns, and hub quality issues.
  • Lead investigations into internal quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances using structured problem-solving tools.
  • Drive containment actions, holds, quarantines, and corrective actions to closure.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and advocate for quality improvements throughout the organization.

Quality Systems Ownership

  • Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Own internal audits and support external audits.
  • Maintain calibration systems and quality documentation.
  • Drive CAPA activities and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain the quality manual and support continuous improvement of quality processes.

Metrics and Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and dashboards to identify trends and drive proactive improvements.
  • Lead regular quality reporting and provide feedback regarding overall quality system health to operations and leadership team
  • Facilitate daily quality concerns, Red Lights, weekly MRB reviews, and quality action tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, warranty costs, and overall Cost of Quality.
  • Lead quality improvement projects and preventive actions based on data and trends.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams and lead root cause investigations using 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other structured problem-solving methods.
  • Promote quality awareness and training throughout the facility.
  • Support the future development and leadership of Quality Technicians as the quality organization grows.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and present findings and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives, including annual savings targets, through data-driven analysis and process improvements.

Who You Are:

You are a hands-on problem solver who enjoys balancing technical investigation with the day-to-day disciplines required to maintain an effective quality system. You are comfortable leading teams, presenting to customers and leadership, and driving issues to closure. You understand that quality excellence requires both proactive improvement and consistent execution of foundational quality processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, Fishbone, and CAPA systems.
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data analysis.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Familiarity with Power BI and quality metrics reporting.
  • Experience leading internal and external audits.
  • Experience with welding, machining, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, or programming languages such as Python
  • Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
  • Previous experience leading quality technicians or quality teams.
