In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Generate innovative ideas, develop concepts, and design new products as well as improvements to existing products
• Perform engineering calculations and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) stack-up analysis
• Apply core engineering principles to solve design and development challenges
• Provide CAD support using Solid Edge or SolidWorks for new product development and sustaining activities
• Drive cost optimization and product quality improvement initiatives
• Apply design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) principles in product development
• Execute engineering change requests and engineering change notes efficiently and accurately
• Support the development, testing, and evaluation of functional prototypes
• Create and manage costed bills of materials (BOM) and use PLM tools such as Teamcenter
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project timelines and customer expectations
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and global stakeholders -

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in product design or related field
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools (preferably Solid Edge or SolidWorks)
• Knowledge of casting, plastic, or forging design considerations
• Understanding of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5 preferred)
• Ability to communicate effectively with global teams
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and solve complex engineering challenges -
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in appliance product design
• Familiarity with PLM systems such as Teamcenter
• Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with hardware, firmware, and sourcing teams -

• Support CAD activities for sustaining, NPD, Cost saving or Quality Improvement projects with considerations of DFMA. • Work on conceptual ideas to build functional design with considerations of DFMA. • Craft NPD layouts and designs with a structured, analytical mindset • Deal with regular Engineer Change Requests (ECR) / Engineer Change Notes (ECN) • Perform hand calculations, GD&T stack up analysis. • Effective verbal as well as written communication with all the project stakeholder • Work on building & Testing of functional prototypes and evaluate test results. • Understanding of work priorities & execution of tasks per customer expectations
