In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead the accounts payable and financial services work team at Fromex.
  • Manage accounts payable USA invoicing at Fromex.
  • Prepare and manage daily, monthly book reports and analysis of shipments, delays.
  • Be the link between customer account collections and risks in compliance with company policies.
  • Resolve customer issues and problems by applying the billing processes and interacting with other departments and customer service to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoice corrections
  • Supervise customer order hold postings related to credit, pricing, taxes and commissions.
  • Record journal entries and perform reconciliations for intercompany receivables, commission and tax on shipments.
  • Generate and reconcile monthly tax record on shipments for preparation of state tax returns on shipments.
  • Perform adherence to effective controls, accounting policies, practices and procedures.
  • Perform various analyses as advised by the accounting manager and comptroller.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • 5 years of related experience (in accounting, accounts payable and American accounts receivable.) with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Billingual 90%
  • Ability to provide leadership in a work team.
  • Ability and Documentation to travel to USA.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Knowledge of computer packages Microsoft Office, Excel in particular.
  • Knowledge in accounting systems.
  • Knowledge in Oracle system.
  • High capacity for analytical development.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Leadership, communication and collaboration skills

This position supports and assists in accounts payable and accounts receivable monitoring activities for the intercompany by ensuring that the guidelines established by Emerson are carried out correctly, as well as ensuring that the records processed are in according to the accounting principles and in case of detecting any error, requests the correction and follows up. Part of the responsibility is to give certainty to the company that the records processed are correct and comply with the accounting guidelines and internal control that the company has established.
