- To participate in the design and execution of control systems for power plants, typically under supervision/under coordination of Technical Experts or the Customer. Activities include System Configuration, Application Programming, Internal Testing / Simulation, FAT, System Installation, I/O Checkout and Functional Testing.
- To travel for site activities;
- To assist with questions and issues from customers
- To perform assigned tasks/duties with balanced risk while strictly observing the „Business Ethics” of the Emerson Process Management
- To follow and observe all company procedures & trainings related to the Operation Controls as listed below, but not limited to: Trade Compliance, Checkpoint, Records Retention, Quality Management System, and Ethics
- To develop Personal and Professional competencies as well as knowledge about Emerson Products & Services

- Minimum of three years presenting technical information to senior management and defending one's position. Higher education in technical field – Automation/ Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering / Computer/ Chemical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Process Control
- Experience with Process Control in projects in industry, DCS and PLC
- Strong knowledge of another European language with international circulation
- Solid knowledge of PC operation, Office applications
- Experience with teamwork (especially in teams located in different countries)
- Good knowledge of English
- Understanding of the commercial aspects of projects
- Willing to travel 40-70% of the time

As the Associate Engineer for Power & Renewables you will be responsible for you will be responsible for the technical implementation of Control Systems projects, including both office application development and onsite startups. This is a highly developmental role comprising formal, practical training and the acquisition of power industry-related experience. You will be a member of the Power & Renewables Team, which undertakes the design, implementation, factory acceptance test (FAT) and commissioning phases of projects.
