1. Position Summary:
We are seeking a Facility Engineer to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of PRM Chengdu site facilities and utility systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuous operations by maintaining infrastructure, responding to issues, and contributing to improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to enhance facility performance and sustainability.
2. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Oversee the daily operation, inspection, and maintenance of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, water supply, drainage, and wastewater treatment.
Monitor system performance and maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation to support operational transparency.
Respond promptly to facility-related issues or breakdowns, troubleshoot root causes, and implement timely repairs to minimize disruption.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimal system reliability and extend equipment lifespan.
Support facility upgrades, modification projects, and energy efficiency initiatives by providing technical input and overseeing implementation and acceptance.
Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and fire protection regulations through regular inspections and corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs such as space adjustments, utilities provision, and infrastructure changes.
Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring service quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
Monitor inventory and usage of spare parts and consumables, and support budget tracking and cost optimization efforts.

4. For This Role, You Will Need:
Background in engineering or technical disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, water systems, or facilities management, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Practical knowledge of facility systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues.
Experience supporting maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance planning and execution.
Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and system diagrams.
Familiarity with standard office tools and maintenance documentation practices.
Basic English communication skills (written or verbal) to support workplace interactions.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
5. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Relevant technical certifications, such as an electrical license or similar credentials.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or large-site facility operations.
Exposure to energy-saving or facility optimization projects.
Experience managing contractors or service providers.
Understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.
