Position Summary:

If you are a Manufacturing Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the opportunity to drive manufacturing excellence within QuickShip and MEAPAC operations. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and optimising manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, and compliance with engineering and industry standards. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, you will support new product introductions, resolve manufacturing challenges, and contribute to digital transformation and capital project initiatives, all while fostering a safe, collaborative, and high-performing environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Review manufacturing capabilities regularly and support new product introductions into production

  • Provide practical engineering solutions for issues arising during assembly, machining, and testing activities

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for safety, manufacturing, and operations, and deliver training to teams

  • Analyse tooling requirements and lead the design and development of tools and fixtures to support manufacturing processes

  • Create and maintain routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for make items within QuickShip and MEAPAC

  • Act as a focal point for equipment maintenance, supporting both breakdown and preventive maintenance activities

  • Support the planning and execution of CAPEX projects across QuickShip and MEAPAC operations

  • Contribute to factory digitalisation and intelligent automation initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency

  • Drive and support 5S+1 and Lean manufacturing practices to enhance operational performance

  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth production flow, quality assurance, and continuous improvement

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes including assembly, machining, fabrication, and testing

  • Experience in designing tools and fixtures for manufacturing applications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams

  • Effective communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience managing CAPEX and automation projects

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Root Cause Analysis, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

  • Exposure to digital transformation or smart manufacturing initiatives

  • Familiarity with control valve manufacturing or similar industrial products
