Job Summary:
We are seeking a technically strong and customer-focused Special Solutions Engineer to serve as the Asia Pacific Subject Matter Expert for Pressure Regulators, Tank Products, and Steam Products. This role will drive customized engineering solutions by translating complex customer requirements into compliant, innovative, and commercially viable offerings. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, you will ensure technical excellence, successful project execution, and profitable business growth. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, disciplined professional with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Analyze and interpret customer requirements related to non-standard and special engineering solutions for Pressure Regulators, Tank Products, and Steam Products.
Review and evaluate project documentation, technical specifications, industry standards, and end-user requirements to ensure complete technical compliance.
Develop and recommend the most technically and commercially optimized solutions and prepare customized quotations for special solutions and non-standard requirements.
Collaborate with the Asia Pacific (AP) Supply Chain team to assess technical feasibility, costing, sourcing strategy, and delivery lead times for special solutions.
Support order execution by providing accurate technical inputs to the engineering team for the preparation of precise Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring alignment with customer requirements and prevent execution delays.
Coordinate closely with AP manufacturing facilities to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of projects involving customized and special-engineered products.
Drive standardization initiatives by incorporating repeated special requirements into the AP Price Book to reduce quotation turnaround time.
Actively participate in technical discussions and customer meetings to address project-specific engineering and application requirements.
Maintain comprehensive technical expertise in Pressure Regulators, Tank Top Equipment, and Steam Products, including product selection, application engineering, and troubleshooting.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of international engineering standards and codes, including ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, JIS, and EN.
Posses working knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements, including ATEX, PESO, PED, DNV, and ABS, and support compliance-related activities as required.
Conduct customer site visits when necessary to gather application data, understand operational requirements, and validate technical specifications.
Deliver technical training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions on regulator and tank product fundamentals, applications, and best practices for customers and internal stakeholders.
Support the AP PRM Industrial business growth strategy by securing high-value opportunities, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving order intake with improved gross profit margins (GP%).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering with 2 to 8 years of experience.
