Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with internal teams to translate marketing objectives into social strategies.

· Execute strategic social campaign planning for individual marketing campaigns and projects.

· Develop an organic content strategy and handles the editorial calendar including the scheduling via Khoros Marketing or any similar scheduling platform.

· Copywriting, Generate creative assets (Using tools such as Canva/Adobe), and manage related processes.

· Daily use of social media channels for reporting, analytics, and trend tools (including but not limited to: Spreadfast, Trello, Adobe Web Analytics).

· Moderate and respond to all social media engagement (replies, comments, messages) with an excellent customer service attitude.

· Test, optimize, and report global campaign results on an ongoing basis across multiple social media channels and present to internal stakeholders.

· Proactively identify campaign issues and formulate actionable solutions based off findings.

· Understand the company’s business objectives to effectively translate them into social media campaign goals and strategies.

· Monitor social media trends, best practices and techniques to ensure correct account spend/growth, identify new opportunities and optimize user experience through analytics and A/B testing.

· Clearly communicate work status, potential issues, and successes with team, internal stakeholders, and external agency.

Key candidate requirements:

· Strong communication skills: you will be able to craft your ideas and messages to fit a variety of channels and contexts both in short and long form.

· Organizational skills: This is a fast-paced job and may require managing multiple projects simultaneously. You need to be able to stay on top of them, and always be able to communicate where things are.

· Natural networker: this role involves developing positive relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and our brand’s audience on social media.

· Good judgment: You will decide how to handle engagement from our audience - how to respond appropriately in real-time and in a variety of contexts. You will be the voice of our brand in social media and must represent NI every day in a way that treats our customers well, portrays us positively in the community, and helps move the business forward.

· Adaptability: You will wear a lot of hats in this role as you support our social channels for multiple programs. On any giving day you’ll be a copywriter, editor, customer support specialist, PR representative, creative director, and project manager.

Key technical requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree.

· 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing; including experience with the management of social media accounts for a brand.

· Has direct experience either personally or professionally with the following channels: LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and Instagram.

· Fast and independent learner when it comes to software, apps, and digital tools.

Preferred skills and experience:

· Experience in managing and creating B-to-B content.

· Experience working in an international corporate environment and/or with global social media channels.

· Strong initiative and resourcefulness; highly self-motivated.

· Passion for data and data-driven decision making; strong analytical skills.

· Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast-paced environment.


As the Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for helping with Emerson’s Test and Measurement Business group social media channels. Together with the Chief of Social Media, you will develop and implement an overall social media strategy that supports T&M’s customer-centric marketing strategy and aligns with the business Group’s brand identity. This role requires close coordination with multiple marketing teams to integrate a social media strategy that supports our customers and industry needs. This role requires a strong understanding of the global social media landscape to effectively drive day-to-day tactical execution of campaigns and meet company expectations.
