In this role, you will support quality and project execution activities by reviewing customer requirements, preparing and managing quality documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time. Your work will help enable operational excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and in particular with Project Management, playing a key role in ensuring customer requirements are translated into successful project execution.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Review order confirmations and customer requirements to prepare quality documentation associated with contract review activities.

  • Partner with planning, engineering, and other internal teams to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and documented.

  • Analyze customer-requested changes and variations to determine quality documentation impacts.

  • Prepare, manage, and release quality documentation packages, including Inspection Document Lists (IDLs), to support manufacturing and project execution activities.

  • Coordinate documentation related to customer-specific procedures, inspections, controls, and quality plans.

  • Support quotation and project review activities by providing quality documentation expertise.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is issued in a timely and organized manner.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance documentation quality, efficiency, and customer experience.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Education in a mechanical, engineering, manufacturing, quality, or related field.

  • Experience supporting quality documentation, project administration, contract review, quality assurance, manufacturing operations, or a related function.

  • Ability to review, organize, and manage technical and quality-related documentation with strong attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in Italian and English, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Success in this role is measured by timely document delivery, providing compliance with contractual requirements, effective collaboration across functions and finally focusing on customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience working within a medium to large manufacturing organization.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and digital documentation processes.

  • Knowledge of valves, metal properties, manufacturing processes, or product quality certification requirements.

  • Understanding of inspection and testing documentation requirements.

  • Certification in Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) techniques, such as ISO 9712 or ASNT-TC-1A, is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of material certification requirements (EN10204) or international quality standards is considered a plus.

  • Own the quality documentation process for assigned projects, ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting demanding customer and production schedules.

  • Support customer quality-related requests during project execution and ensure contractual documentation requirements are fulfilled.

  • Ability to interpret customer specifications, technical requirements, and contractual documentation.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 28000 & 40000 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. The role is suitable for candidates with early career experience as well as professionals looking to further develop their skill in project quality. This role is covered by the Industria Metalmeccanica Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which defines the applicable compensation structure and progression (CCNL Metalmeccanici — Assolombarda).
