Job Summary:

The supply chain Manager will be responsible to Lead & manage a team of Sourcing and Supplier Quality Engineers/Managers to establish and implement sourcing strategies to accomplish AP & site goals and objectives.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Strategic Sourcing & Commodity Management:
Lead & manage a team of Sourcing and Supplier Quality Engineers/Managers to establish and implement sourcing strategies to accomplish AP & site goals and objectives.
Identify and formulate long term strategies by commodity for major commodities. This requires collaboration with Supply Chain Director and Commodity Leaders.
Identify leveraging opportunities for common commodities between India and other PRM sites optimize cost and service performance.
Design and maintain a systematic tracking mechanism for material costs of key products, driving data-backed cost reduction initiatives by product line.
Supplier Performance & Relationship Management:
Proactively review suppliers’ performance on lead time, service level and quality performance; initiate targeted improvement programs to close gaps and exceed performance targets.
Conduct business reviews with critical/key suppliers on a periodical basis to exercise/maintain positive Supplier Relationship Management and mitigate supply risks.
Coordinate training programs to elevate supplier capabilities for current and future needs.
Project Prioritization & Execution:
Evaluate and prioritize the projects (which are NPD, Regionalization, Localization, Cost Containment and Risk Mitigation Projects) and assigned to the right Procurement team member.
Drives projects to meet target completion date, ensuring seamless execution from sourcing through to production readiness.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional Project Team to achieve lead time, on-time delivery, cost and payment term.
Process Standardization & Resource Optimization:
Coach the team to maximize the use of Emerson’s procurement systems, metrics, and reporting tools for data-driven decision-making
Implement consistent and sustaining processes within India MWC Site (e.g. disciplined project management) to optimize waste reduction and resources.
Take on special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Supply Chain Director and/or Senior Management to support evolving business priorities.
Talent Development & Leadership:
Identify and develop potential candidates for growth and development for career progression program.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration within the procurement team to build a robust talent pipeline for future leadership roles.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferable in Engineering.
Minimum 10 years products sourcing experience of Die Casting, Sand Casting, Stamping, Machining, Springs, Investment Castings, Molded Rubber, Custom Molded Plastics, Valves in multinational company.
Min 8 years’ experience in a Managerial Capacity in MNC with Proven Track Record.
Possesses prior People management experience.
Excellent negotiation and project management skill.
Strong competencies such as Accountability, Action Oriented, Result-Driven, Plans & aligns, Resourcefulness, Builds Effective Team are a must.
Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001 Management System, as well as the requirements of Corporate Safety Management and Occupational Health Management is preferred.
Good command of English (written/oral) and PC skills such as Excel and PowerPoint.
