Special Testing Engineer

In this role, you will support the development and execution of specialized testing activities for valve and actuator products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry standards, and quality expectations. Analyze customer specifications, project requirements, and testing criteria to support proposal and project execution activities.
Evaluate testing requirements and assess compliance with customer expectations, applicable standards, and available testing capabilities.
Develop alternative technical solutions and recommendations when standard testing methods require modification or deviation.
Review inspection and test plans to ensure alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
Create and maintain procedures for specialized testing activities, including high-pressure gas, cryogenic, fugitive emission, vacuum, high-temperature, disc strength, and factory acceptance testing.
Partner with project management, quality, manufacturing, and testing teams to support successful test execution and certification activities.
Review and incorporate customer feedback into testing procedures to ensure approval and compliance.
Provide technical support during testing activities and assist in resolving issues that arise during test execution.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Professional proficiency in English and Italian.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to analyze technical specifications, interpret standards, and develop testing procedures.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, integrity, and customer focus.
Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety requirements applicable to manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting engineering, operations, manufacturing, or testing activities.
Experience with industrial valves, actuators, or flow control products.
Familiarity with factory acceptance testing and specialized performance testing methodologies.
Experience working with international standards, customer specifications, and quality documentation.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and customer-focused environment.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 28000 & 45000 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. The role is suitable for candidates with early career experience as well as professionals looking to further develop their skill in project quality. This role is covered by the Industria Metalmeccanica Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which defines the applicable compensation structure and progression (CCNL Metalmeccanici — Assolombarda).
