- Lead, coach, and develop Project and MRO Documentation teams to deliver high standards of documentation management and customer service.
- Balance workloads and resources to ensure efficient operations and consistent delivery performance.
- Collaborate with sales teams, project management teams, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure documentation requirements are clearly defined and achieved.
- Establish team goals, performance metrics, and reporting processes to monitor progress and support business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify best practices, and support the ongoing enhancement of documentation processes.
- Coordinate training, succession planning, and knowledge-sharing activities to strengthen team capabilities.
- Support resource planning, including coverage for absences and vacancy management.
- Set individual performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and support employee growth and development.
- Conduct documentation audits to maintain quality, compliance, and process consistency.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for documentation management capabilities and standards.
- Partner with project teams and sales organizations during customer discussions to establish realistic documentation expectations and support successful project outcomes.
- Review customer specifications and documentation requirements to identify risks, opportunities, and scope changes.
- Escalate issues when needed, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and help remove barriers to execution.
- Develop reporting tools, progress tracking methods, and early-warning indicators to support project success.
- Communicate key metrics, lessons learned, and process improvements with global stakeholders.
- Support a safe and compliant workplace by following Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) requirements and reporting identified risks or incidents.
- Perform other responsibilities reasonably related to the role.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating teams in a documentation, project support, operations, quality, or related environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
- Proficiency with business software applications and digital tools used for documentation and reporting.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and drive actions to completion.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, quality, and operational excellence.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Experience in documentation management, technical documentation, quality assurance documentation, or document control.
- Background in project management, project coordination, or project support functions.
- Knowledge of documentation requirements within engineering, manufacturing, automation, or industrial environments.
- Experience developing team performance metrics, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.
- Additional European language skills.
- Experience supporting customer-facing projects and contractual documentation requirements.
