Lifecycle Service Manager

- Safety, Compliance – responsible to the fullest possible extent that the business is fully compliant with all policies, procedures and practices for safety and compliance. Lead by example and strive for zero injuries and full compliance
- Ensure that all MSOL Services orders are delivered on time, on budget and on quality.
- Responsible for the collaboration through the matrix organization with the MSOL Europe Lifecycle Services Operation Manager to report utilization and financial performance (profitability) per segment of the MSOL LCS business.
- Evaluate and recommend organization changes in consultation with the MSOL Europe Lifecycle Services Operation Manager to meet or exceed the expected financial performance.
- Responsible for consistently identifying and implementing MSOL operation Project Management Office processes and procedures to ensure excellence in project execution.
- Work closely with the MSOL Sales Director to validate the LCS Sales POR.
- Ensure collaboration between local and European functions with respect to both project lead-time and cost of completion.
- Responsible for the management of the MSOL install base and customer’s engagement to create LCS opportunity.
- Ensure that LCS opportunity are relevant, reported in CRM, quotations accurate and delivered on time.
- Management of the Services Engineers located throughout Nordics to ensure they operate effectively and are developed to their full potential.
- Ensure proper knowledge and certification of MSOL Services Engineers.
- Ensure that Services engineers receive/maintain updates and appropriate training, technical and medical certificates as required, as well as appropriate tools/equipment and spare parts for delivering services to customers.
- Responsible for coordinating and allocating work of the Services engineers.
- Direct Services team to perform scope of work on time, within budget and in a profitable manner.
- Review and respond to customer complaints relating to field services activities.
- Together with country leadership, develop and execute the strategic plan and take ownership of the relevant strategic initiatives.
- Provide leadership and supervision for direct reports. Establish personal development plans including training needs. Perform annual performance and development planning process and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Fulfill Delegation of Authority Requests within the DOA guidelines.
- Review and Approve/Reject leave and expenses.
- Conduct PEP (Performance Evaluation Planning) reviews and PDPs (Personal Development Planning) with direct reports to assess performance against agreed goals, adjusting goals or setting new ones as appropriate.

- Fluent English language skills; verbal, reading and writing. Any additional European languages are useful.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline. Additionally, relevant business discipline qualifications (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Lifecycle Services, Project Management and/or Engineering; excellent sales and operations orientation, preferably in a control/Instrumentation/Engineering environment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in direct or indirect leading of teams in an inter-national / inter-cultural environment.

The primary purpose of the position is the ownership of the Measurement Solution (MSOL) LCS profitability. This role provides sales and operational leadership to all current and future MSOL Services business, driving continuous improvement in all processes and performance, ensuring the highest standards are always maintained. Provide support to both external and internal customers that will increase customer loyalty and achieve perfect execution.
