Emerson’s DeltaV SaaS SCADA Customer Solutions Engineer will create proposals and formal commercial agreements, develop cloud-based SCADA software solutions, and act as a technical subject matter expert supporting various sales teams with technical documentation and software demonstrations.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Provide commercial and technical support to the DeltaV SaaS SCADA business development team and the Emerson Impact Partner network.

  • Collaborate directly with clients to help them realize a vision for new technology adoption within their organization.

  • Prepare, review, and approve the scope of work, network architectures and bill of materials deliverables required to develop budgetary proposals and binding commercial agreements.

  • Demonstrate and showcase the DeltaV SaaS SCADA Cloud Platform for existing and prospective clients.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the DeltaV SaaS SCADA Cloud Platform to assist with solution development and software training.

  • Work with clients to understand their business and technical challenges and develop remote monitoring solutions that fit their requirements.

  • Implement and oversee the execution of pilot projects by using internal and external software tools for data collection, validation, and visualization.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma/Trade Designation in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Automation. Concentration in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or Petroleum disciplines

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of technical sales experience

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, SCADA, automation systems and field instrumentation

  • Knowledge of communication protocols of Flow Computers, RTUs and PLCs including industry standard and custom programs.

  • Experience with Ethernet, Radio, Cellular, and Satellite communication

  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas production operations, artificial lift, and facility design.

  • Proficient with Microsoft operating systems and program suites.

  • Excellent presentation and technical writing skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
