Fixed Assets Accountant

- Manage fixed asset accounting transactions in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements
- Perform monthly closing activities and support timely and accurate financial close processes
- Prepare monthly and annual account reconciliations, control documentation, and supporting schedules in line with company policies and compliance standards
- Support internal and external audits related to fixed asset accounting and financial controls
- Assist with internal and external reporting requests by providing accurate and timely financial information
- Partner with colleagues across finance and other business functions to support operational and financial objectives
- Review, analyze, and maintain financial records and documentation to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Participate in fixed asset inventory processes and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness within accounting processes

- Education or experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Fluent communication skills in both Hungarian and English
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Customer-focused mindset and a willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Availability to work on a temporary contract (1 year)
- Experience supporting fixed asset accounting activities
- Knowledge of US GAAP and/or local statutory accounting standards
- Experience working in a shared services, finance operations, or multinational business environment
- Familiarity with audit support processes and financial controls
- Exposure to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools
- Demonstrated interest in process optimization and operational excellence
