In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Assist in shipment coordination: Support the preparation of shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists) and supervise delivery timelines with guidance from supervisors.
  • Learn customs compliance basics: Help capture technical documentation and liaise with customs agents to ensure alignment with basic regulatory requirements.
  • Data entry and tracking: Accurately input shipment details into logistics databases and supervise transportation status updates.
  • Support route optimization: Assist senior team members in researching carriers and delivery routes for cost-effective solutions.
  • Document organization: Maintain files for customs clearance, insurance forms, and shipment records.
  • Compliance monitoring: Shadow team members to observe customs declaration processes and flag discrepancies.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
  • Language: Intermediate English (written/spoken); basic Russian/Kazakh is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn logistics workflows.
  • Availability: Able to commit to a 3–6-month internship, with flexibility for occasional business trips.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Coursework: Completed classes in logistics, customs regulations, or Incoterms.
  • Exposure: Familiarity with basic supply chain concepts through projects, clubs, or volunteer work.
  • Team Experience: Prior involvement in group tasks requiring coordination or documentation.
  • Tools: Basic understanding of logistics software (e.g., ERP systems) is advantageous.
