What is the Position? Evercore is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Analyst or Junior Associate for its Infrastructure & Energy Debt Advisory (“IEDA”) group, based in New York.

The IEDA team sits within Evercore’s broader Infrastructure & Energy Transition Advisory platform and covers a wide range of corporate clients, financial sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, and pension funds across the infrastructure, energy transition, and digital sectors throughout the Americas. Key asset classes include, but are not limited to, ports, toll roads, parking, data centers, fiber, towers, midstream / LNG, renewable energy, clean technology, and utilities.

Primary Responsibilities: Evercore’s differentiated advisory approach provides the candidate with the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming transactions across the Americas. The team’s lean structure enables meaningful exposure and responsibility early in one’s career, offering a strong platform to develop investment banking expertise.

The candidate will have the opportunity to support a variety of strategic advisory assignments, including the execution of debt advisory mandates and M&A transactions across the capital structure.

Specific Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be ambitious, self-directed, technically strong, and intellectually curious, with a demonstrated interest in investment banking. This role offers exposure to complex, high-impact transactions within a fast-paced and demanding environment at a rapidly growing firm.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 2+ years of investment banking experience, ideally with experience in the infrastructure, energy and digital sectors, credit / debt markets, or project finance
  • Strong team-oriented mindset and collaborative attitude
  • Strong work ethic and high level of energy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and financial modeling
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure, with a proven track record of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in finance and credit markets

Expected Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $225,000
