What is the Position? Evercore Wealth Management is seeking a Data Analyst to support and enhance the firm’s core business applications, data processes, and operational workflows. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a rapidly evolving technology and operations environment.
The Analyst will play a key role in supporting day-to-day system operations and data flows, troubleshooting issues, improving data quality, and partnering with stakeholders to drive process improvements. This position offers the opportunity to work across portfolio accounting, trading, reporting, and client-facing platforms while contributing to strategic initiatives including data governance, workflow automation, and AI enablement.
Primary Responsibilities: The Data Analyst will work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to understand existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, support AI enablement and help deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support and maintain data throughout core business applications, including client relationship management, portfolio accounting, trading, and reporting systems
- Help implement and enforce a data governance framework, including data quality standards, controls, and documentation
- Assist in troubleshooting data and system issues, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating resolution with internal teams and external vendors
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Assist in evaluating and integrating AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and decision-making
- Partner with stakeholders to document current-state workflows and design more efficient future-state processes
- Contribute to workflow automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Support ongoing system implementations and enhancements as part of the firm’s broader technology transformation
- Create clear and concise documentation, including process flows, system guides, and training materials
- Provide day-to-day user support and training to business teams as needed
Specific Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a data or business systems analyst, operations, or similar role within financial services or a related industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with and interpret data across multiple systems
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to identify practical solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in data analysis and automation tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python
- Experience with portfolio accounting, trading systems, or reconciliation processes is preferred
- Exposure to workflow tools, data governance concepts, and automation technologies
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and data-driven solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field
Expected Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
This position requires valid United States work authorization and is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.
