Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner to support our Private Capital Advisory (PCA) Quantitative Group. This is a highly visible, front office facing role that will work closely with senior business stakeholders, quantitative teams, and technology partners to drive the development and enhancement of critical platforms, data capabilities, and business processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience within Private Capital Advisory, private equity, or a related financial services environment, with a strong understanding of investment banking workflows, investor and sponsor data, and technology delivery. Direct PCA experience is highly preferred, although candidates with broader private equity experience and strong business acumen will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the PCA Quantitative Group and front office stakeholders to translate business objectives into clear requirements, user stories, and prioritized development backlogs.

• Serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, deliverables, and platform enhancements.

• Proactively identify and resolve dependencies related to data access, technical environments, and cross functional coordination to maintain development momentum.

• Define, track, and report KPIs related to platform adoption, data quality, and delivery performance, providing regular updates to PCA leadership.

• Contribute to application design, data architecture, and integration initiatives across CRM, investor, sponsor, and transaction datasets.

• Drive requirements gathering, solution validation, testing, and implementation of technology enhancements supporting PCA workflows.

• Engage with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and more effective use of data and technology.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 8 years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, or technology delivery within financial services.

• PCA experience strongly preferred, with consideration for candidates who demonstrate a strong understanding of private equity, private markets, investor relationships, and sponsor workflows.

• Experience working directly with front office investment banking or private markets professionals.

• Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms, financial datasets, data integrations, and application development processes.

• Experience working with Agile development teams, managing user stories, and prioritizing product backlogs.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem solving skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior business leadership.

• Understanding of application architecture, data models, and integration frameworks.

• Exposure to Azure or AWS networking and cloud application architecture is preferred but not required.

A proactive, commercially minded professional who can operate independently in a fast paced, high visibility environment. The successful candidate will combine a strong understanding of private markets with the ability to bridge business needs and technical execution, build credibility with senior front office stakeholders, and take ownership of initiatives from requirements through delivery.

Expected Base Salary Range: $190,000 - $200,000

This position requires valid United States work authorization and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
