Job purpose:

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Delivery Manager with a proven track record in establishing Global Capability Centres (GCC) / Offshore Development Centers (ODC) / Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. As a pivotal member of the Financial Services, Go-To-Market team, you will spearhead the strategy, planning, and execution of the offshoring framework for our esteemed clients within the GDS - Technology Consulting service line.

Responsibilities: As a leader in GDS Technology Consulting, you are expected to:

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and implement GCC/ODC, BOT strategies that effectively transition projects from the build phase through to the operate phase and finally to the transfer phase.
  • Support the setup of BOT models applying established frameworks and methodologies.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business contracts.
  • Location Strategy: Provide support in partnering with functions/business and formulating business case for location strategy
  • Provide direction, leadership and decision-making to program/project teams
  • Work with account teams to prepare estimates, Point of Views, Position Papers and contribute towards pursuits, proposals, and Statement of Work
  • Help recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Establish an inclusive, open and safe environment where people are aligned around a shared purpose, feel free to be themselves and are valued for their differing identities, perspectives, and talents
  • Is mindful and fully present; maintains personal wellbeing to sustain positive energy and fuel resilience
  • Have experience in leading large complex transformation program from planning and design through development, testing and deployment.

Technical responsibilities:

  • Rich experience at working and growing business with GCCs and hands on experience in handing Build Operate Transfer for clients.
  • Industry experience in financial services is preferred.
  • Demonstrate sustained client relations management experience at a C-suite level

General and Educational Qualifications / Certifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or a related field with 15+ years of experience.
  • Expertise in Financial Services knowledge with 15+ years of working experience
  • Experience in management consulting and IT advisory consulting organizations is a huge plus
  • Graduate from top college known for engineering skills is a huge plus
