Role objective and key accountabilities:
Supporting the operational and financial management of Learning, CPD processes, reporting, enquiry management and improvement of business processes to ensure a best in class user experience within UK&I by working to improve processes and ways of working. You will also have responsibility for the collection, organisation, interpretation and reporting of data to support quality assurance and compliance. Works closely with the Talent Development Enablement and Operations Manager and a wide range of stakeholders incl SL Talent Development teams, SL Quality key contacts, other internal functions and third parties to influence and support the delivery of operational excellence and efficiencies across learning and CPD process for the whole firm.

Key Responsibilities - you will be expected to perform some or all of the responsibilities outlined
Operating model and continuous improvement
- Work closely with multiple stake-holders in Talent Development (SMR Lead, IBM (DAT) Administration Teams, and individuals within all Client Groups), to ensure high quality deployment of learning
- Contribute to the evolution of the Global Process Model and Learning Platform by proactively seeking feedback to identify opportunities for improvement across a broad portfolio of activities, and ensure that both Global and Local guidance is robust, accurate and fit for purpose
Vendor and account management
- Be seen as the key day to day contact for a suite of third-party providers (e.g. venue sourcing agent, external venues and print providers), by working with multiple stake-holders in Talent Development, to evaluate service quality, and design, implement and improve processes
Continuous Professional Development CPD
- Responsible for the day to day management of the CPD processes incl stakeholder management
- Processes – continuous improvement
- enquiry management from learners, SL Quality teams, IBM(DAT) about CPD processes, compliance, exemptions and appropriate CPD activities/evidence or service feedback/issues
- perform and document updates to processes
- supporting in updating the IBM service of documenting evidence, tracking and reporting individual staff member's CPD activities, monitoring issues/feedback and managing continuous process simplification and improvement
- Reporting
- perform quality assessments and analysis on the CPD data to support the business in adapting their processes to improve data and quality and ensure compliance
- support in providing SL Quality teams with reports and insights re identified non-compliance cases and circumstances known to Talent (such as family leave, long term absence, new joiners, qualified during the CPD year etc.) to help SL Quality teams identify potential RM implications and remedial actions
- support in preparing required information for annual ICAEW inspections
- planning for the annual ICAEW inspection, pro-actively ensuring all CPD records and evidence are up-to-date and compliant
- Communication
- support in updating FAQs & sharing process updates
- provide insights and data for compliance updates to SL Quality and other key stakeholders
Operational projects
- Contribute to other operational projects aligned to the Talent Development team’s strategic priorities and/or business imperatives as needed
Budget
- Support internal Talent Development Finance processes and policies to ensure good financial controls and planning activities are in place. Keep documentation and process guidance updated as ways of working evolve
- Support the Enablement Finance Lead by summarising; financial information, metrics and actions; from multiple sources to provide a holistic view - – identifying key headlines, themes and trends where appropriate
- Apply insight and knowledge to transform data and information at pace into meaningful, tangible outputs to aid Leadership review
MI and Reporting
- Support the provision of valuable, “fit for purpose” management information within Talent Development, responding to the need for business-critical reporting to stakeholders, both internal and external to the team
- Combine and summarise data and information from multiple sources to support data-led discussion and decision making
Relationship and people management
- Builds strong relationships with Talent Development Enablement and Operations Manager and other key stakeholders, leverage their time, and supports on execution of key priorities
- Develops, manages and maintains key relationships with IBM (DAT) and other key stakeholders across the firms and globally to influence and support the operations of the Talent Development team
- Coaches and supports the development of the IBM (DAT) team
- Demonstrate ownership of own professional growth and how you maintain relevance in the role
Skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills. Able to pre-empt stakeholder needs, communicate timely, and manage expectations proactively

Experiences
- Significant experience of working in HR in professional services or corporate environment
- Significant experience of working in Learning with experience in Learning Operations and Deployment preferred
- Significant experience in working with large and varied data-sets, bringing together timely to form one holistic view
- Experience and awareness of VBA would be advantageous
- Experience in operational and process management
- Working in international and diverse environments
- Track record of building strong working relationships
