Our International Tax & Transactions Services practice helps investors, private capital enterprises and multinational corporations proactively address challenges by bringing globally connected tax services to all aspects of their business.

As part of a globally organized and deployed team, and sitting within the larger Tax team, our people are required to be creative and innovative in assisting clients.

The opportunity

We are looking for a senior to join our robust team.

Your key responsibilities

You will be part of a team based in the Kenya office advising our clientele of large and medium sized multinational enterprises and local companies. Your work will cut across different sectors, industries, companies and business processes.

Typical responsibilities of the role include, but, not limited to the following:

  • Preparing/reviewing transfer pricing reports and performing benchmarking analysis
  • Analysing business value chains to establish the most appropriate transfer pricing methods
  • Supporting investors and other players during mergers and acquisitions
  • Providing transaction advisory services
  • Other cross-border tax advisory services
  • Supporting business development initiatives

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in either Economics/Business/Finance or legal field with a minimum of Upper Second Class honours or its equivalent
  • Professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CPA or CA) will be an added advantage
  • A minimum overall grade of a B in KCSE and B in both English & Mathematics

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the field of international taxation (including transfer pricing) with a legal or professional firm. Experience in dispute resolution specific to transfer pricing controversy will be an added advantage.
