We are looking for a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team to navigate clients through IT transformation journeys by implementation cutting – edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players.
The opportunity
As a member of our team, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in implementations of SAP systems in Record to Report areas.
Your key responsibilities
- You’ll be helping clients to successfully go through IT transformations in order to implement new solutions offered by SAP, i.e.: S/4Hana, Central Finance, VIM, FPSL, Group Reporting, Accrual Engine, RE-FX.
- You will be asked to support clients in greenfield and brownfield implementations using various methodologies i.e. Agile. Your responsibility will be also to manage the quality of implementation projects.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 3-7+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation in areas such as AP, AR, GL, CO, Fixed Assets, PEC etc.
- Central Finance experience is required
- Experience in standard project tasks: Fit-Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, training
- End-to-end business processes
- Knowledge about system enhancements
- Good accounting knowledge
- Excellent English verbal and written communication
- Strive for Continuous Improvement and Growth
- Experience in data migration
- Good communication skills
- Strong team work skills

- Strong cross functional understanding with PP, MM, SD.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- SAP software solutions – Underpinned with strong functional process knowledge and an ability to contextualize technology and deliver business value
- System integration skills
- Experience developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under inter-dependent project deadlines.
- Testing skills for strategy development and oversight of execution
- Solution architecture skills
- SAP Project Systems
- SAP Group Reporting
- SAP Analytics, Performance Management and Reporting
- SAP Financial planning solutions – BPC and/or SAC for Planning
- Hands-on expertise with any of the SAP Treasury core components (i.e. Cash management, Transaction manager, In-house cash, Risk analyzers, Liquidity planner, Hedge management and accounting, SWIFT integration, BCM, integration with financial accounting and other applications).
- SAP Portfolio and Project Management
- SAP Vendor Invoice Management
- SAP Success Factors
- SAP Ariba
- SAP Concur
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Have experience of supporting pre-sales engagements and responding to RFP’s etc
- German or other European language is an advantage
