Location: Hybrid role with a minimum of one day in our More London Place office or 25 Churchill Place

The Role: We are seeking a Talent Consultant to join our team as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our Service Line (SL) across UK&I and UK FS. In this role, you will support the Strategic Talent Consultant (STC) and Strategic Talent Leader (STL) in delivering commercial people-related advice and guidance to leadership and management.

Reporting Line: UK&I SL STC/ (Dotted line into SL STL and FS STL and FSO STC – as appropriate)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key member of the FSO Sub-Service Line Leadership team, representing the Talent agenda (FSO only).
  • Support the SL STC in strategic partnering for UKI/UK FS service lines.
  • Assist in the formulation and deployment of FSO Talent Strategy (FSO only).
  • Collaborate with SLs to create workforce plans and reassess needs quarterly.
  • Oversee the Talent service delivery for the SL(s) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the creation and delivery of strategic talent plans and talent reviews.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver the wider Talent strategy.
  • Analyse engagement strategies and implement action plans based on listening tools.
  • Anticipate and address issues within the SL, providing first-class client service.
  • Ensure consistency and professionalism in all cyclical talent activities.
  • Provide robust insights on People issues and influence business decisions.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships, co-developing solutions with leaders and managers.
  • Champion inclusivity and diversity within the workplace.
  • Collaborate with Talent colleagues to deliver a positive employee experience.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across the SL Partner group.
  • Partner with SL senior leadership team and Senior Managers, Associate Partners, and Managers.
  • Team closely with HR Operations Centre of Excellence (HR Ops COE) for daily requirements and projects.

Skills:

  • Strong Employee Relations experience with complex cases.
  • Current knowledge of Diversity and Inclusiveness practices.
  • Experience contributing to business decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ability to influence at all levels, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Resilient, practical, and a self-starter; comfortable with both independent and team work.
  • Skilled in coaching and advising senior management.
  • Knowledge of contemporary HR practices.

Experience:

  • An experienced HR Manager with a track record in a complex matrix environment.
  • Professional qualification, postgraduate in Business or Human Resource discipline is desirable.
  • Occasional travel required.
