The opportunity
This Growth & Innovation Reporting Specialist/Analyst is in the R&DA Leadership Support Team, reporting to Sandeep Venkatesh (Managed Services CRL).
This role is responsible to provide reporting support / additional analysis / responses to ad hoc queries across the scope of the Growth & Innovation group, which includes:
- Managed Services
- Alliances
- Sustainability
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Smart Delivery Model (SDM)
The expectation is that the focus of the role will be largely on Managed Services, at least initially.
The role will liaise with senior staff across the R&DA Leadership Support team who are involved in supporting the various topics listed above, as well as with the R&DA Enablement team. The role will also work directly with finance staff in the Growth & Innovation team (ie, staff outside the R&DA).
Your key responsibilities
- Deliver regular standard reporting for Growth & Innovation team (eg Managed Services Data Extracts).
- Support Growth & Innovation team with ad hoc data requests.
- Educate the Growth & Innovation team on our standard reports and our ad hoc querying tools eg Ad Hoc Cube.
- Capture enhancement requests / new report requests, liaise with CRL and Enablement Pillar on these.
- Support any special projects in the Growth & Innovation space.
- Review data quality.
- Seek to automate existing processes as far as possible.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience of EY reporting applications.
- Knowledge of EY structures, including those like Growth & Innovation which sit outside the regular reporting hierarchies.
- Strong data analysis skills and an ability to work with big data and deliver customer-tailored insights.
- Good organizational skills and an ability to multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work at speed in a high-pressure environment, and high accuracy of completed work.
- Professional attitude and good communicator, with fluent English skills.
- Ability to work well in a multi-location team environment.
- Adaptable and resilient.
- Strong Technical skills – especially PBI, SQL, PPT.
- Ability and confidence to raise constructive challenges with key customers/stakeholders.
- Business acumen and judgement – eg knowing what’s appropriate to send to leadership.
- A flexible and professional approach, remaining calm under pressure.
- Willingness to leverage and extend networks.

Experience
To qualify for this role you must have
- 5+ years of experience in a finance reporting and analysis role.
- Good knowledge of EY Financial and Markets Metrics and Drivers.
- Experience of using EY Reporting Applications.
- Skills in:
- PowerBI
- SQL
- PowerPoint
- Willingness and ability to be trained in usage of the Markets Ad Hoc Cube, and then educate customers.
