We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Consultant to join our Transaction Strategy and Execution team, based in our Copenhagen office. The ideal candidate possesses a background in M&A strategy/execution (both pre- and post-deal), and experience in the operational aspects of M&A, which should include experience client-facing, or in-house, engagements in one or more of the following areas:
- Post-merger integration and/or carve-out assistance
- Operations due diligence
- Operational value creation
- Deal strategy, including synergies
- Technology (product) and/or IT due diligence
As a Senior Consultant in the team, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional client service in often complex M&A engagements, as well as coaching and developing more junior members of the team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about M&A execution, cares about the development of the team, and can effectively build relationships with clients and peers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to a variety of pre- and post-deal engagements, including due diligence, deal strategy/synergies, operational value creation, and be able to lead workstreams as part of integrations or carve-outs
- Assist in aspects of business origination, including preparation/support for pitches and presentations
- Work in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen to really help add value to our clients
- Learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals, through a blend of structured learning, coaching and experiences
- Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work
- Act as a role model and support development of junior team members, supporting our focus on keeping the team a great place to work and grow
